HORSES TO FOLLOW

This page hosts our rolling Horses To Follow list β€” highlighting the most progressive horses, the biggest upgrades, and key trackers for the season.

🟩 ONE HORSE TOWN
Showed tactical speed and a strong finishing kick at Dundalk; ideal for 6f on AW tracks, especially around a bend when he can sit handy or lead.

🟩 GRENADIER JED
Impressive winner at Fontwell β€” travelled smoothly and picked up at the right time. Looks on the upgrade and should remain competitive in similar handicap hurdles.

🟩 DOWNMEXICOWAY
Perfectly ridden at Gowran on heavy ground. Travels strongly, jumps cleanly, and finds plenty late β€” an ideal type for testing 2m–2m4f chases on stiff tracks.

🟩 CASTLE COVE
Textbook winner of the November Handicap at Doncaster. Handles deep ground superbly and finishes off strongly. One to keep onside in staying handicaps on soft/heavy.

🟩 CLEARPOINT
Sharp 5f sprinter who thrives on Tapeta at Wolverhampton. Fast from the gates and very effective when able to dominate or sit right on the pace over 5f.

🟩 HOWAYA NOW
Tough, relentless galloper who excelled in a stamina test at Ffos Las. Jumps well enough and keeps finding off the bridle β€” bang on for other deep-ground staying chases.

🟩 MISTER BARCLAY
Ground-loving grinder who handled very testing conditions at Ffos Las. Economical jumper and strong finisher; worth following in 3m hurdles on soft/heavy ground.

🟩 CADELL
Dictated from the front at Kelso and never looked in serious danger. Very effective when allowed to control small-field handicap chases on slightly tacky ground.

🟩 KLIC BOUM

Finished better than it appears; strong late-sectionals and top-4 exit speed despite being too far back. Wants further (2m6f–3m) and a handier ride.

🟩MASTER BREFFNI

Finished best of all against a front-runner-dominated pace and posted the strongest jumping figures, marking him as one to upgrade when getting a stronger-run race.

🟩VISION DE MAINE

Stayed on well despite the pace shape and will be very competitive when encountering a stronger gallop or a more testing finish.
